WordPress maintenance and repair
I take over existing WordPress sites, including ones I did not build. Updates run on a copy first, there is a backup before every step, and when something breaks you call me. That is how I fixed AFK's three sites, and I have looked after the two that remain every month since.

October 2026
On 21 October 2026 the PHP project released fixes for two critical vulnerabilities that allow unauthenticated remote code execution (CVE-2026-109618, CVE-2026-109619), rated 9.2 on CVSS v4.0 by the PHP project. The fixes are in PHP 8.5.12, 8.4.27, 8.3.36 and 8.2.35. PHP 8.1 and older got no official fixed release. CISA added both to its Known Exploited Vulnerabilities catalog on 26 October. The flaw is in the server's PHP, so updating WordPress alone does not fix it. On the sites I maintain I check the PHP version and get it updated with the host. As of 30 October 2026.

Included in every quote by default, for the first year after handover. A monthly allowance of 0.5 hours for small text and image changes and updates, and if something breaks, you call me, not a helpdesk. If you don't want it, I take it out of the quote.

I put your profile on Google Maps in order: category, opening hours, your existing photos, a link to your website. The same details go on Facebook and Instagram too. You get a QR card you can use to ask your guests for reviews.
- You add me as a manager: I can edit the profile but I can't add users or delete the profile, so you stay the owner.
- If Google asks for verification, you do it, and I show you how.
- The price includes one follow-up check within 30 days.
- If the profile first has to be recovered from a previous manager, that is a separate item, and I tell you the price in advance.
